Your child may be eligible for a Indiana State Tax Credit Scholarship and, beginning 2027, a Federal Tax Credit Scholarship. 

: Eligibility Guidelines :

• Enrolled in Burge Terrace Christian School
• A resident of Indiana
• Between the ages of four (4) and twenty-one (21), and enrolled in grades Pre-K-12
• Students must turn 4 and be less than 22 by August 1
• Income eligible

*Income is determined by the adjusted gross income on the 1040 filed for the taxable year immediately preceding the date of application

*Students in foster care automatically meet the income eligibility requirements

After your student has been ENROLLED & ACCEPTED at Burge Terrace Christian School; Please contact Kim Curtis, BTCS Financial Aid Coordinator, for instructions on how to apply for scholarships.

Your child may also receive a Choice Scholarship (Voucher)  

*The total of all scholarships combined cannot exceed the total of tuition and fees for the year.

Your Indiana tax credit eligible gift partners with families to make education possible at Burge Terrace Christian School. 

When you (Individual or Business) give to the SGO Fund for Burge Terrace Christian School you receive a 50% tax credit that can be applied to your Indiana state tax liability. Donations may also qualify as a charitable donation on your federal tax return if you itemize. 

SGO scholarships is a program of SAGAMORE Institute an Indianapolis-based non-profit public policy research organization that promotes education excellence;  Certified by the State of Indiana as a Scholarship Granting Organization.
